It has been confirmed by Warner Bros. that Ben Affleck will play the role of Batman in the upcoming super hero movie in which he’ll join Henry Cavill who will play the role of Superman again.

After the announcement was made last month of both Superman and Batman appearing in an upcoming movie, fans were excited but tonight’s announcement is making fans having second thoughts about the film.

Sue Kroll, President of Worldwide Marketing and International Distribution at Warner Bros. Pictures, said “We are so thrilled that Ben is continuing Warner Bros.’ remarkable legacy with the character of Batman. He is a tremendously gifted actor who will make this role his own in this already much-anticipated pairing of these two beloved heroes.”

With so many negative comments via social networks Facebook and Twitter, it seems like Affleck is going to have a greater challenge in identifying himself as The Dark Knight.
