Earlier today, Square Enix had made available the demo of Lightning Returns for the Xbox 360, but it only lasted a short while online.

Square Enix told ShackNews & Polygon the 1.13GB demo was taken off Xbox Live due to a “technical glitch” and that it will announce the official demo release for both the PS3 and the Xbox 360 sometime later.

The players who downloaded the demo are able to test the new battle system, try the many costume customization features, and the Outworld service. The newest Final Fantasy title will make its debut on February 11.
