In order to migrate players to the newest consoles so that they won’t have to buy another copy of a title, Activision will offer a free upgrade for a limited time to players who get to buy a digital copy of Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and later want to bring the excitement to the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Also included in the free upgrade, there is a transfer of multiplayer stats and DLC bought in-game (including Season Pass content). Unfortunately, the upgrade will not apply to the ones who purchase a physical copy of either version of the game. Don’t wait too long if you purchase the game the digital way; the upgrade will apply to purchases made by March 31, 2015 on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Store.
