We’ve seen the livestreaming feature in the newer consoles from Microsoft and Sony, so it seems it was just a matter of time to see the same on the top PC computer gaming community Steam.
By using the latest Beta version, PC gamers can make use of the Steam Broadcasting feature in the client software. For now, you can watch live videos of the games your friends are playing on the PC gaming community.
The Broadcasting feature on Steam becomes one more option for fans to share their gameplay. But unlike similar services Ustream and Twitch, Steam Broadcasting won’t let you store or save the livestream, for now.
To use the service, you must opt-in to activate Broadcasting. It can only work with Google Chrome, Apple Safari and the Steam client software.
