As the end of a long saga is coming next week, Kojima says adieu with the latest trailer of MGS5: The Phantom Pain. For fans who have followed the series not just since the release of Metal Gear Solid on PlayStation 1, but also since its launch on the MSX and the NES/Famicom with the original Metal Gear, this game may bring tears to gamers who have followed the work and passion of Hideo Kojima in the franchise, particularly because of the main character Solid Snake.

Though Kojima’s name is missing in the cover of the game, he does get his name shown in this video he edited, with the best of previous games and what’s to come on what may be the last Metal Gear game produced by Kojima himself. Beware, you may see some spoilers.

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain is coming to PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on September 1st.
