The critically acclaimed game Firewatch, developed by indie Campo Santo, will become a film. After achieving almost a million copies in sales, Campo Santo will team up with production company Good Universe to create content for video games and films.

Their first project will be an adaptation of the adventure game Firewatch, the first game by indie Campo Santo formed mainly by veterans from Telltale Games.

Firewatch follows the story of fire lookout Henry who noticed strange things that are happening to him and his supervisor Deliah while working at his tower in Shoshone National Forest, in Wyoming in 1989.
