Nintendo has scheduled an Animal Crossing Nintendo Direct for November 2 to inform fans more about the title for the Nintendo 3DS.
Because tomorrow’s presentation will be just about the 3DS game, gamers shouldn’t expect any big surprises.
This updated version of the game will include amiibo support and content to unlock, as well as amiibo cards. Current owners of the original 3DS version will be able to download a patch for free via the Nintendo eShop.
For gamers who didn’t get to play the game and are looking for all the content that’s coming, a retail version of the game will be released as Animal Crossing: New Leaf – Welcome amiibo for just $19.99.
Among other things people may see info about during tomorrow’s announcement: the Animal Crossing mobile game (supposed to be released this fall), and Miitopia (a game announced during the Japanese Nintendo Direct presentation aired last September).
Make sure you’re up at 10AM Eastern / 7AM Pacific.
