Seven months after the creators of indie game Towerfall revealed their upcoming game, game developer Matt Thorson announced the arrival of Celeste to the Nintendo Switch.

The mountain-climbing 2D platformer game, with over 250 stages, still does not have a release date, but it will make its presence on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Steam. Thorson and co-creator Noel Berry announced the game originally in July 2016.

Gamers not familiar with Celeste can visit the website CelesteGame.com and also play Celeste Classic here at https://mattmakesgames.itch.io/celeste.
