Fans return to Otacon, evacuation ends | Los aficionados vuelven a Otacon, evacuation termina

At about 2pm EST, a fire alarm caused an evacuation at Otacon. According to Anime News Network, fire fighters and police arrived to the Baltimore Convention Center, even though there were no signs of fire. At 2:20pm, convention attendees were told “to clear the building, everyone needs to be across the street from the BCC. Please cooperate with the staff! Thanks!” Forty minutes later, event organizers starting allowing dealers, invited guests and staff to return to the convention. Event attendees were allowed to return to the convention at approximately 3:10pm.

A eso de las 2:00pm EST, una alarma de incendio provocó una evacuación en Otacon. Según Anime News Network, los bomberos y la policía llegaron al Centro de Convenciones de Baltimore, aunque no había señales de fuego. A las 2:20 pm, se les dijo a los asistentes de la convención que  “desalojen el edificio, todos tienen que estar al otro lado de la calle de la BCC. Por favor, cooperen con el personal! Gracias!” Cuarenta minutos más tarde, los organizadores del evento comenzaron a  permitir a los comerciantes, invitados y personal a volver a la convención. Se permitió a los asistentes del evento volver a la convención aproximadamente a las 3:10pm EST.
