[EN]: Just this morning, The New York Post posted an interesting article about the company many gamers known as EA. Electronic Arts is synonymous with Madden NFL, FIFA, The Sims, and many other videogame titles.
Providence Equity Partners already own a successful game company known as Bethesda, the makers of immensely popular The Elder Scrolls franchise. Along with equity giant KKR, Providence wants to take over EA.
According to the NY Post’s Claire Atkinson, “the discussions are at an early stage.” A source had this to say about EA: “They’ve made it known they’d do a deal at $20 a share.”
None of the three companies had anything to say on the subject.
