It has been 25 and a half years since I arrived to the US and have not had a chance to go back to Peru, the country where I was born, where I started playing videogames and learning about computers.
With the Cyber Sustainable Development Project by LATISM (Latinos in Social Media), I have finally gotten an opportunity to travel back to Peru and do much more.
I’m here in Perú with awesome people helping the people of Patacancha, a small rural town an hour away from Machu Picchu, with Sisy McDowell and Edgar Mejia are in this great adventure with me since we left the United States, though the plans started for this mission many months ago. Each one of us is going through some sacrifices in order to make this a reality, but it is for the greater good. @AnaRC is on her way here.
We are here because we want a better future for the education of this community via technology, especially for the school kids and teens.
I will share my adventures in the coming days.

Han pasado 25 años y medio desde que llegué a los EE.UU. y no he tenido la oportunidad de ir a Perú, el país donde nací, donde empecé a jugar videojuegos y aprender de ordenadores.
Con el Proyecto Cibernético de Desarrollo Sostenible de LATISM (Latinos in Social Media), he conseguido por fin la oportunidad de viajar de nuevo a Perú y hacer mucho más.
Estoy aquí en Perú con personas increíbles que ayudan al pueblo de Patacancha, un pequeño pueblo rural a una hora de Machu Picchu. Sisy McDowell y Edgar Mejía se encuentran en esta gran aventura conmigo desde que salimos de los Estados Unidos, aunque los planes comenzaron para esta misión hace muchos meses. Cada uno de nosotros está pasando por algunos sacrificios para hacer esto una realidad, aunque esto es para el bien común. @ AnaRC está en camino aquí.
Estamos aquí porque queremos un futuro mejor para la educación de esta comunidad a través de la tecnología, especialmente para los niños y adolescentes escolares.
