The next iteration of the Samsung Galaxy S will be coming in April along with a newer version of its Galaxy Gear, said Lee Young Hee, Exec. VP at Samsung Mobile.
In a conversation with Bloomberg earlier today, Lee also stated the Galaxy S5 may or may not come with iris recognition technology (aka eye scanner). The current S4 model already comes with facial recognition.
Samsung has also taken into consideration the design of the S5 due to the similarity between the S3 and S4 models.
She did not mention to Bloomberg any specifications, but the upcoming S5 could bring more attention with a new look and features to counter the sales of the iPhone 5S.
