The social media analytics web site founded by Joe Fernandez and Emil Michael is now part of Lithium Technologies, a social customer experience management software for the enterprise field, for US$200 million, says Fortune.
If you are not familiar with Klout, the web site service assigns a score to users’ social media rankings. It takes a look at peoples’ activities on Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn and many other social networks, and depending on the people’s activities and influence, Klout assigns users a score.
Expect more details about this news when both companies get to make the announcement on Thursday morning.
