It is hard to believe fans of the franchise have waited this long for another edition of Super Smash Bros. Unlike other franchises, this is not a title that appears every year, so, having to play a new title in the series brings back the best times previous titles have given us male and female gamers. In Japan, a famous group of girls comes to ring along with Mario and friends in a commercial.
In the most recent promotional video for Super Smash Bros for the Nintendo 3DS, members of the Japanese idol girl group AKB48 show their presence as Mii Fighters, as seen of other celebrities’ appearances.
With the game’s Mii Fighters, players can select one of the three types of fighters and create a personal look with the console’s Mii feature. In this ad, Mayu Watanabe, one of the AKB48 girls, is seen ready to confront Mario.
