With 10 million additional copies sold since the release of the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game, Grand Theft Auto V has reached the 45-million distribution mark, says Rockstar Games’ parent company Take-Two Interactive.
According to today’s press release, the copies, classified as “sold-in,” are the ones sold to retailers but not to customers.
Also, Take-Two Interactive reported successful results for its third fiscal quarter ending December 31, 2014.
The PC version of GTA V will make its debut on March 24.
Take-Two Interactive owes much of its financial success to GTA V, and still there are more titles coming soon such as Evolve, WWE 2K15: Showcase: Hall of Palin (DLC), Borderlands: The Handsome Collection, and Sid Meier’s Starships, within the next few weeks.
