During a press event in its Japanese offices in Shinigawa, representatives told the local press Microsoft won’t attend the 2016 Tokyo Game Show. Instead the Redmond, WA, company will host its own Xbox Big Thanksgiving aka Xbox Dai Kansha-sai event sometime in the month of October.
This marks the second time in a row the company won’t be present at TGS. For Microsoft, its Xbox One event last year was a success mainly because of the large crowd that showed up. Also, Microsoft will also show Windows 10 games.
Microsoft did not release specific info about the upcoming event in October.
