After 9 years of development, fan-made Pokémon Uranium launches version 1.0 reaching a major milestone for fans who love the franchise and want to play a brand-new adventure. The latest version of the free PC game, released on August 6, takes place in the Tandor region with more than 150 new Pokémon, including Raptorch, Orchynx, and Eletux. Each player “must collect 8 Gym Badges to enter the competition at the Tandor Regional Championship.
According to lead designers JV and Involuntary Twitch, the game features: Three characters to choose from to start your adventure, Online Lobby (direct trade & player battle), Mega Evolution, Nuclear Type, Pokémon Speech Translator, cinematic battles, responsive menus, and more. The purpose of this game is “to recapture the classic Pokémon experience along with some added twists.” The game has already been patched leading to version 1.0.1 to fix several bugs.
