On the same day as the recent Nintendo Direct, Australia’s Classification Board posted on its website that Mario Sports Superstars is being developed by Camelot and Bandai Namco.
For fans unfamiliar with Camelot, the developer has worked on previous Mario sports games such as Mario Tennis and Mario Golf. Also, Bandai Namco has worked on the development of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS and Pokkén Tournament.
While both developers are not strangers at collaborating in the development of games for Nintendo, the “multi platform” mention on the game’s description may give fans something to think about. Could it be a mistake by the Classification Board?
