Daily bonuses are coming to Pokémon GO

Fans will have more reasons to check their favorite mobile game every day now that Niantic has announced daily bonuses are coming to Pokémon GO. In the next update, the new daily bonus feature will let fans receive more experience points and items whenever they catch additional Pokémon and check out PokéStops once a day. A new day to get your daily bonus starts at 12 AM local time.

Niantic released the following info about the daily bonuses:

Catching a Pokémon every day will earn the following bonus:

• 500 XP
• 600 Stardust

Catching a Pokémon every day for 7 days straight will earn the following larger bonus:

• 2,000 XP
• 2,400 Stardust

Visiting a PokéStop and spinning the Photo Disc every day will earn the following bonus:

• 500 XP
• A number of additional items

Visiting a PokéStop every day for 7 days straight will earn the following larger bonus:

• 2,000 XP
• A greater number of additional items
