Activision announced today it will release a standalone edition of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered, first on PS4, on June 27 for US$39.99.
When Activision first said Modern Warfare Remastered was only going to be included with the Legacy, Legacy Pro and Digital Deluxe Editions of Infinite Warfare, many fans were very disappointed when it was launched on November 3, 2016, but they should be no more. Players will be able to pick up a copy the physical or digital way this coming Tuesday. Unfortunately, the standalone edition of MWR will not include the game’s Variety Map Pack (available separately for $14.99).
Fans of CoD who want to play Modern Warfare Remastered on PC and Xbox One will have to wait a little bit longer for an announcement by Activision.
The game was first released in 2007 as Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare.
