Game developer and publisher Daybreak announced via its website it will shut down support for DC Universe Online (DCUO) on the PlayStation 3 on January 31, 2018.
The purpose of the shut down, according to Daybreak, is to “focus our resources on further optimizing the game for PlayStation 4.”
Players who are still enjoying the game on the PS3 now have less than 3 months left, enough time for them to “prepare for these future changes.”
Players getting the PS4 version of the game will just need to log in using the same PSN account to automatically transfer their info.
