A feature that perhaps more game developers should offer is coming from CD Projekt as it is bringing the save file integration with digital game services Steam and GOG to the Switch version of the game. With this feature, gamers will be able to play on the go with the Nintendo Switch version of the game and continue at home on their PC with either Steam or Good Old Games.
Known as Update 3.6, it brings more than just the save file integration among platforms.
Take a look at what’s coming for the game on the Switch, as seen on the post:
- Added touch control support.
- Added save file integration with GOG, Steam and versions of the game for Switch from different regions.
- Added more text languages (in selected regions).
- Added more graphical options.
- Added multiple performance optimizations.
- Fixed various visual and functional bugs.
- Various gameplay and crash fixes.
- Mod-related bugs and blockers might get transferred from a modded PC game save file.
- If the save file name has been changed on PC, the Switch’s Cloud Save feature won’t be able to recognize it.
Though this update won’t satisfy gamers who care a lot about high-definition graphics, it will bring more ways to those gamers to customize their graphical options.
Later on, CD Projekt will offer “additional voice-over languages” as free DLCs for selected regions.
