Amazon subsidiary Relentless Studios announced it will remove two of three game modes from Crucible, a free-to-play multiplayer third-person shooter it launched on May 20.
According to a developer update, gamers have enjoyed Heart of the Hives, one of the three game modes and the most successful one.
Relentless Studios will focus on their successful game mode which consists of two teams of four trying to be the first one to capture three hearts.
While the developer focuses on Heart of the Hives, it will eventually retire the other two game modes: Harvester Command and Alpha Hunters.
Among the additions to the game fans have asked for thanks to their feedback: “voice chat, a surrender option, a system to deal with AFK players ruining matches, an expanded ping system, and potentially some form of mini-map.”
The game will stay on pre-season, delaying the first season of Crucible.
