The Discord Mobile Screen share feature has finally arrived to iOS and Android devices today.
It’s the one feature Discord desktop users have enjoyed for years but has been missing for mobile devices.
With this feature, users will be able to broadcast anything that shows up on their devices with up to 50 of their friends on a voice channel. It doesn’t matter if it’s a game or YouTube stream someone shares, a group of friends can watch it together and chat.
Also, friends who watch a broadcast can share the same channel.
Of course, this means that those who want to share their broadcast may want to activate the Do Not Disturb option on their phone. That way, notifications and phone calls won’t get in the way when broadcasting.
At first, this functionality was available for up to ten users on desktop since 2017, but the limit was raised to 50 users in March this year.
