Though the number of games that were sold were less than in previous weeks, NEO: The World Ends with You took the number 1 spot in the Japanese game sales ranking for the week of July 26 – August 1, 2021.
The Switch version of NEO: The World Ends with You sold 18,799 copies, pushing The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD to second place with 18,620 copies sold. The Zelda title had the #1 position during its debut week and the week after. The PS4 version of NEO: The World Ends with You didn’t stay far behind in the list as this version sold 9,248 copies.
The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles for Nintendo Switch made its debut in third place with 14,460 copies sold. Its PS4 version made the Top 30 list debuting at #28 with 14,460 copies sold. Meanwhile, Naruhodo Legends Collection, a bundle of Ace Attorney 1 & 2-Naruhodo Ryunosuke’s Demise and Satoru, Great Ace Attorney 1 & 2 – Naruhodo Ryunosuke’s Demise and Satoru, and Ace Attorney 1 & 2 & 3 Naruhodo Selection, accompanied the other titles at #27 with 3,704 copies sold.
Other new titles that were the Top 30 list are: Kimi wa Yukima ni Koinegau at #22, Sniper Ghost Warrior Contracts 2 at #23, Blaster Master Zero Trilogy Meta Fight Chronicle at #29, and ARK: Ultimate Survivor Edition at #30. Check out the entire list.
