During its second week in sales and its first full week in the market, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl kept the lead in Japanese game sales for the week of November 22-28, 2021, with 355,046 copies sold.
Once again, the duo of Pokémon titles sold more titles than the rest of the Top 30 games combined. However, the amount sold in the second week was much less than the one achieved in the week of November 15-21, 2021.
Its newest competitor in the week was the baseball game Power Pro Kun Pocket R (パワプロクンポケットR). The game, developed by Pawapuro Production for the Nintendo Switch, landed in third place with 23,360 copies sold during its launch week.
Meanwhile, the second new title for the week, Goku Futsū no Shika no Game DEEEER Simulator Shika Full Sōbi Edition, landed at 19th place with 2,749 copies sold.
