Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl were able to maintain their lead once again with 164,580 copies sold for total of 1,915,268 on the week of November 29 – December 5, 2021, in Japan.
This time around, the number of weekly copies sold dropped from 355,046 on the week of November 22-28 to 164,580. With the latest results, the duo of Pokémon titles is getting closer to 2 million copies sold in Japan since launch.
Also, three new titles made it into the Top 30 list for the mentioned week. The educational game Yawaraka Atama Juku Issho ni Atama no Stretch landed in third place with 36,928 copies sold. Meanwhile, Disney Magic Castle: My Happy Life 2 made its debut in 8th place with 13,348 copies sold. Eiga Sumikko Gurashi: Aoi Tsukiyo no Mahō no Ko Game de Asobō! Eiga no Sekai, a fun collection of 20 mini games published by Nippon Columbia, landed in eleventh place with 8,217 copies sold.
