Mega Man Live-Action film reportedly in the works at Netflix

According to IGN, a Mega Man live-action film is in the works at Netflix.

Netflix has not confirmed yet it is working in this project about the character based on the Capcom franchise. However, a prior version of production company Supermarché’s bio page shows Netflix’s involvement.

“Henry, Rel, and their in-house producer Orlee-Rose Strauss maintain an active development slate. Features in the works include: an adaptation of Capcom’s MEGA MAN for Chernin Entertainment and Netflix, which they wrote and are directing.”

Supermarché’s website later removed the mention of Chernin Entertainment and Netflix. “Features in the works include: an adaptation of Capcom’s MEGA MAN which they wrote and are directing.”

This discovery comes weeks after another Capcom franchise didn’t see success at the box office last month with the live-action film Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City.
