Though there hasn’t been any mention of a remake or remaster, a list of GoldenEye 007 Xbox Achievements had been leaked online.
The GoldenEye 007 Xbox Achievements have been recently shared by TrueAchievements.com. This list of achievements is not from the Xbox Live Arcade version that was planned for Xbox 360 consoles and was later cancelled due problems with licensing.
The recently revealed list of 55 achievements, including a secret achievement (archive), offers a total of 1,0000 Gamerscore. Back then, XBLA titles had a limit of 200 Gamerscore points.
IGN says two Xbox accounts have already completed a few of the achievements. The users of both accounts seem to belong to Rare employees.
The recent discovery does not indicate GoldenEye 007 is coming out this year to Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S this year. However, it would be great news for fans if the game does come out officially again in 2022, during its 25th anniversary. GoldenEye 007 was first released for the Nintendo 64 on August 25, 1997, in the US.
Hitman developer IO Interactive is already working on a new James Bond game titled Project 007.
