Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Pokémon Shining Pearl ended 2021 and started 2022 at #1 in game sales in Japan, according to Famitsu.
For the period of December 20, 2021 – January 2, 2022, the Pokémon titles kept the lead with 231,275 copies sold.
Mario Party Superstars maintained second place with 104,540 copies sold.
Also, the Nintendo Switch OLED Model remained first in hardware sales with 190,111 units sold for a lifetime total of 875,765 units.
Famitsu didn’t update its Game Sales page for the period of December 20, 2021, to January 2, 2022. Instead, it shared a list of the Top 10 software and hardware sales via a post.
The post indicates Famitsu will update its Game Sales page “on or after January 8, 2022.”
