Genshin Impact is still in development for Nintendo Switch

Since its launch in various platforms in 2020, the Nintendo Switch version of Genshin Impact has been missing in action, making fans believe it may no longer be in the works.

However, game developer miHoYO told GoNintendo it is still working on the Nintendo Switch version of the game.

“The Switch version is still in development, and we will release more information as we progress further along,” the developer and publisher said.

The Switch version was originally confirmed during the early development of the popular title.

For now, fans should not worry about the cancellation of this version. Fans may still want to know why the Switch version is taking a long time.

Genshin Impact has been nominated at The Game Awards in 2020 and 2021 for Best Mobile Game, Best Ongoing Game, and Best RPG game. It won Best Mobile Game last year.
