The Nintendo Switch family of consoles ended the week of January 9-15, 2023, in first place in Japan game console sales. However, the PS5 was less than 5,000 units behind the Big N’s Nintendo Switch OLED Model.
For the recently reported week, Nintendo sold a total of 74,690 units, making up about 61.703305% of all consoles. Meanwhile, the PS5 and PS5 Digital Edition sold 44,113 units to make up 36.4428692987% of all consoles. Xbox only sold just 1,052 units for a total of 0.8690839096% of all consoles. The PS4 was a bit more fortunate than both Xbox models, with 1,099 units sold.
