The PlayStation 5 consoles are still in the lead in Japan game console sales for the week of March 6-12, 2023.
For the mentioned week, Sony achieved 64,869 units sold, which is 13,543 less than the amount sold for the week of February 27-March 5, 2023. This means that Sony sold 50.14765453477% of all 129,356 gaming consoles. Meanwhile, Nintendo continued in second place with a total of 59,901 units for all its three Switch models, representing a 46.30709050991% in game console sales. However, Microsoft continued in third place with a total of just 2,887 Xbox Series units sold, which is 2.23182535% of all consoles sold.
