Resident Evil 4 Remake smashed the competition in Japan game sales charts for the week of March 20-26, 2023.
The popular Capcom title made first place with 89,662 PS5 copies and second place with 85,371 PS4 copies sold, for a total of 175,033 copies sold. Resident Evil 4 Remake’s gameplay, plot, and visuals has been modernized for this version of the 2005 video game.
Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key was created by Gust. It is the third and last game in the Secret plotline, the twenty-fourth main chapter in the Atelier series, and it marks the franchise’s 25th anniversary while featuring the same protagonist from the previous two games. It landed in 3rd, 5th and 7th place with a total of 63,167 copies sold.
Grim Guardians: Demon Purge is a 2D action/adventure game produced and developed by Inti Creates. The game is a spinoff of Gal*Gun: Double Peace, starring Shinobu and Maya Kamizono. In the game, Sakurazaki Academy is suddenly overrun by demons, and it’s up to the demon-hunting team to figure out what happened to the school and its pupils. It made its debut in 12th place with 5,857 Switch copies sold.
SD Shin Kamen Rider Rumble is a “super deformed” side-scrolling beat-’em up game based on the recently released film Shin Kamen Rider. Though the game is already out in Japan and Asia for Nintendo Switch and Steam, it will be out for people around the world on April 27, 2023. it made it onto the charts in 13th place with 5,411 Switch copies sold.
