Soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo teased his participation in some way in the upcoming Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves video game by SNK.
The scene begins in a soccer stadium, showcasing Ronaldo’s iconic number 7 on the large screen of a soccer field. Shortly after, intriguing text appears: “A legendary player joins a legendary game.” The sequence ends with a door bearing the Fatal Fury logo at the end of a hallway, poised to be dramatically opened.
Fans want to know if CR7 will be a playable character in the franchise. In other games, players have already seen celebrity skins of game characters.
Currently, SNK is under the ownership of Mohammed bin Salman, the crown prince of Saudi Arabia and the proprietor of the MiSK Foundation. In addition, Cristiano Ronaldo is a player for Al Nassr, a Saudi Arabian soccer team owned by the Public Investment Fund.
At TGS 2024, SNK will be present at the Tokyo Game Show 2024 where it will show a playable demo of Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. On September 26, there will be a soecial match “featuring eight very special guests—from female pro gamers to comedians, voice actors, cosplayers, and more!”
