Users of PlayStation Network are currently experiencing problems logging in and playing games. As of 9:21 P.M. ET, the PSN Status Page says that PlayStation Store, PlayStation Video, Account Management, and Gaming and Social are affected.
“You might have difficulty getting products on the PlayStation Store. We’re working to resolve the issue as soon as possible. Thank you for your patience,” says the page about these mentioned four services.
The network problems affect users on PS3, PS4, PS5, PS Vita, the Web, and other devices. Currently, players are unable to sign-in, play multiplayer games, play single-player games that require sign-in.
PlayStation Direct is currently not affected, but it was earlier on.
Sony has not made any other statements about the cause for the PSN outage yet.
