For fans wanting to continue playing Animal Crossing on their phones after their online adventures wrap up next month, Nintendo announced the Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp Complete app at an introductory price of $9.99, starting December 2nd. This new app won’t have in-app purchases or require a constant internet connection. Players will be able to transfer their save data, including access to most of the items and events available since the game’s 2017 launch.
Although the new app won’t support user interactions like before, it will feature fresh content. This includes the Camper Card, which lets players introduce themselves and exchange scanned cards. Additionally, there’s a new location called Whistle Pass, where players whose cards have been scanned can gather.
The Pocket Camp version will end its service on November 28, 2024, at 7 P.M. PT. The introductory price for the Complete version will last until January 30, 2025, after which it will cost $19.99. Players have until June 1, 2025, to transfer their save data to the Complete version.
