The gaming market saw a slight increase in Japanese game console sales during the week of November 18-24, 2024. As expected, Nintendo continued to dominate with its various Switch models, while PlayStation and Xbox consoles maintained their respective positions.
Throughout the week, Nintendo managed to sell 69,135 Switch units in total. In contrast, Sony faced challenges with their PS5 models, selling only 25,573 units. This means Nintendo sold 2.7 times more units than Sony. On the other hand, Microsoft struggled, selling just 2,657 Xbox Series units during the same period.
