A través de Twitter, EB Games Canadá anunció esta tarde que Street Fighter V Champion Edition llegaría a Nintendo Switch. El mensaje, en francés e inglés, también les dijo a los fanáticos que podían reservar el juego en la tienda a partir de hoy. Ese mismo reclamo no se había visto en la página Facebook de EB Games Canada ni en ninguna otra cuenta de redes sociales relacionada con Capcom y Street Fighter. Resultó ser un error de EB Games Canada.
El tuit ahora eliminado, como se ve a continuación, hizo felices a muchos fanáticos por algún tiempo.

Sin embargo, horas después, EB Games Canadá eliminó el tuit y publicó los siguientes dos mensajes para disculparse y que el tuit original debía referirse a la versión del juego para el PS4.

Yoshinori Ono, el productor del juego, también se dio cuenta del error de EB Games Canada y compartió sus pensamientos en Twitter. «Tal artículo no existe en este momento», tuiteó.
