Square Enix shows us the slimes and giants of Dragon Quest Heroes, then and now

The game’s release is just a few days away, but not too late to show your younger gamers about the look of veteran characters as Square Enix shows us the slimes and giants of Dragon Quest Heroes, then and now.

In a new infographic distributed to the media, Square Enix shows us the iconic monsters in the early years of the franchise, seen in Dragon Quest (aka Dragon Warrior in North America) and Dragon Quest II: Luminaries of the Legendary Lines (aka Dragon Warrior II in North America). During the NES generation, Enix (company name before merger with Square Soft to form Square Enix) brought the franchise to the US as Dragon Warrior, but stopped the use of it to internationalize Dragon Quest.

The game makes its debut on October 13, 2015, in North America.
