After technical issues surfaced at the start of its latest beta this past Thursday, developer 343 Industries announced the Halo 5: Guardians’ Warzone Firefight beta is getting an extra day, ending at 1 Pm EST on April 19 instead of the original April 18 date. The upcoming mode is a newer version of the fan-favorite Firefight mode seen first in the game Halo 3: ODST. This extra day will give fans of the franchise additional time to test and enjoy the beta and share their experiences with the game developer.
According to a post on Halo Waypoint: “The Warzone Firefight Beta is all systems go. To thank you for your patience, we’re extending the Beta an extra day (until Tuesday the 19th)!”
The feedback from fans seems to be very important for the Halo 5: Guardians developer. Via Twitter, game developer David Ellis at 343 Industries thanked a fan who said the “Defend the Garage” objective wasn’t well-explained and needs clarification.
@kennethDMT @Halo Good feedback and totally agree. We need better feedback for players on that objective.
