Months after the game’s release on Nintendo Switch and Google Stadia, Sega announced Panzer Dragoon: Remake will make its way to Steam (PC), GOG and PS4.
Sega originally announced the remake edition back in December 2018. The game is being developed and ported by Forever Entertainment subsidiary MegaPixel Studio S.A. from Poland. The same studio is also working on a remake for the sequel, Panzer Dragoon II: Zwei.
For gamers unfamiliar with the franchise: “On a far, lone planet, you encounter two dragons awaken from the ancient times. Armed with a deadly gun from the past, and the guidance of your armored blue dragon, you must fulfill your destiny and keep the Prototype Dragon from reaching the Tower or die trying.”
Unfortunately, no release date has been announced though the game’s page is already live on GOG and Steam.
The original パンツァードラグーン Panzer Dragoon first made its debut on the Sega Saturn in 1995. Sega’s Team Andromeda developed the first three Saturn games, while Sega’s Smilebit team worked on Panzer Dragoon Orta.
