Along with the arrival of five new Mii Fighters, Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII is coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate on Dec. 22.
However, Sephiroth may be available early if fans get to beat the Sephiroth Challenge. This limited-time challenge will be available between today at 6pm ET and Dec. 22 at 8pm ET. Only users who have purchased the Fighters Pass Vol. 2 DLC can enter the challenge.
Though the arrival of Sephiroth brings more challenges and fun to fans, he isn’t the only new characters from FFVII. Tifa, Aerith and Barret from FFVII enter the Smash arena as Mii Fighters. A Chocobo hat is also included.
Geno, from Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, is one characters fans had hoped to see in Smash Ultimate as a regular fighter. He enters the game as the fifth Mii Fighter in Challenger Pack 8. With that pack also comes the addition of the Northern Cave, a new location familiar to FFVII fans.
