Nintendo announced yesterday the Quality of Life enhancements fans will soon see in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD for Nintendo Switch.
In the most recent trailer, Nintendo shows two main improvements.
Players will get optional assistance from Fi. When a light glows on Link’s sword, Fi will ask if a player needs any help.
With enhanced control options, fans will have two ways to play: motion controls (using Joy-Con) or buttons-only controls. Whatever method a player picks will help Link use defense and offense, pick up and throw objects, and use bow and arrow.
Other additional quality of life features include:
- enhanced frame rate for smoother gameplay
- fast-forward dialogue
- streamlined item information
- skippable cutscenes
When a player picks up the same one item again and again with Link, he or she won’t see the same repeated information every time with “streamlined item information” on.
The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD is making its way to Nintendo Switch on July 16, 2021.
