Triangle Strategy and Gran Turismo 7 took the top three spots in game sales in Japan for the week of February 28 – March 6, 2022.
As a single game, Triangle Strategy (developed by Artdink) landed in 1st place with 86,298 copies sold in Japan. There is currently a downloadable demo available on the Nintendo eShop. It is being published in Japan by Square Enix and worldwide by Nintendo.
However, Gran Turismo 7 also showed off its popularity with 73,399 PS5 copies and 64,565 PS4 copies sold, for a combined total of 137,964.
Two other new titles also reached the Top 30 chart. Another Square Enix title, Babylon’s Fall, made its debut in 24th place with 2,885 PS4 copies sold and 27th place with 2,224 PS5 copies sold.
Meanwhile, Doraemon: Nobita’s Little Star Wars 2021, based on the movie of the same name, reached the chart in 30th place with 1,965 copies sold.
