Pokémon Scarlet & Violet dethroned Splatoon 3 after two months in the Japan game sales charts for the week of November 14-20,2022, with 2,537,292 copies sold.
While the pair of Pokémon titles made the top of the charts, five other titles made their debut
Monochrome Mobius: Rights and Wrongs Forgotten is a JRPG that made its debut in 4th place with 9,066 PS4 copies sold and 11th place with 4,950 PS5 copies sold. This game, also available via Steam, takes place prior to the events in Utawarerumono: Mask of Deception.
Cardfight!! Vanguard Dear Days is a one-on-one battle card game developed by Bushiroad. The game landed in 8th place with 6,649 copies sold.
Three other titles made their debut as well: SympathyKiss in 9th place with 6,072 copies sold, Puyo Puyo Tetris 2 Special Price in 19th place with 3,091 copies sold, and Return to Shironagasu Island in 27th place with 2,661 copies sold.
