The Nintendo Switch family of systems continues to succeed in Japan game console sales this time for the week of November 21-27, 2022.
It seems like the release of Pokémon Scarlet & Violet is the main factor for the continuous success. This time around, the three Switch models sold an overall amount of 156,127 units, more than the amount accumulated in the week of November 14-20, 2022 (145,803 units). 70.559179% of all units sold in the recent week were Nintendo Switch ones.
However, the PS5 and the Xbox Series family of units did not stay behind. The PS5 models accumulated 50,920 units sold, which is 23.012505% of all console units sold in the week. Its older sibling, the PS4, continues to be represented with 2,220 units, representing 1.0032946% of all units sold.
Meanwhile, the Xbox Series X|S together accumulated 11,939 console units sold, representing 5.395646% of all units sold. In the previously reported week, there were only 1,527 units sold.
