The PlayStation 4 game creation system’s live service support will expire in September, according to Media Molecule, the Sony-owned creator of Dreams, as it focuses on a fresh undertaking.
The studio said in a blog post that it has made “the difficult decision to discontinue live support for Dreams after 1st September, 2023 to shift its focus to an exciting new project.” However, due to a server migration that will take place before the live service is terminated, the majority of recent Dreams creations should be secure. Users will be restricted in what they may upload to the Dreams servers as part of this transfer, including 5GB of storage and a maximum of 256 creations.
