After many months of waiting, the 2D fighting game MultiVersus will make its official return on May 28, 2024.
Player First Games CEO Tony Huynh made the announcement today shared via social media.
The fighting game with Warner Bros. and DC Comics characters has been offline since June 2023 to make improvements.
This time around, the developer has “rebuilt the game from the ground up to support our new code.” The multi-platform game itself has also been rebuilt using Unreal Engine 5 to add better performance and visuals, and pinpoint accuracy.
New characters will be added, though there was no mention yet of who will make it into the game.
Huynh also mentioned a brand-new PvE game mode will provide players a different way to play and obtain unique rewards.
