The Qiddiya Investment Company and Toei Animation announced today the world’s first Dragon Ball theme park to be built in Qiddiya City, Saudi Arabia.
The upcoming 500,000-square-meter theme park will feature seven themed lands from the iconic series, along with 30 themed rides, 5 major attractions, in additions to hotels and restaurants. Among the attractions, a 70-meter Shenron rollercoaster.
Video and screenshots of the concept art of the upcoming theme park were shared by both companies.
The announcement comes a few weeks after the passing of Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama on March 1, but announced on March 8 in Japan.
